We utilize state-of-the-art chemical and electronic testing equipment to ensure the most accurate water analysis possible. Through careful attention to the balance of your water chemistry, we can minimize your family's exposure to algae, bacteria, and harsh chemicals.
Not in terms of algae, we're talking about the environment! We, like many businesses today, are striving to be as environmentally friendly as possible. By promoting the use of more natural methods of pool maintenance like salt cell chlorinators, and sending invoices by e-mail instead of through paper mail, we continue to try and do our part to preserve this planet we all call home.
Cleaning Service

Our weekly and bi-weekly cleaning services include:
Inspect Equipment |
When we arrive at your property, the first thing we do is inspect your equipment for proper function and check for the presence of leaks (suction and flow). We then turn the main filter pump on, if it isn't already, to get the water moving for a more accurate analysis of the water chemistry. This phase usually includes emptying the main pump basket trap and a physical inspection of the pump's impeller to ensure the best possible system flow. |
Test and Balance Chemicals |
After the water is moving we take a sample of the pool water and test for pH, Chlorine, and Total Alkalinity on a weekly basis. We do a full water analysis consisting of pH, Total Alkalinity, Free Chlorine, Bromine (if you use it), Cyanuric Acid, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Salt (if you happen to have a salt pool), and Calcium Hardness on a quarterly basis. Once the water is tested, the chemicals are adjusted (after the backwash cycle, if applicable) to maintain optimal pool sanitation and swimmer comfort.

|
Skim |
This may sound kind of nerdy and ridiculous but we use specially designed skim nets called Piranha leaf rakes that allow us to quickly and efficiently remove positively buoyant (floating), neutrally buoyant (stuff just kind of floating around in the water), and negatively buoyant (sunken) debris from your pool and/or spa. The point being that we take pride and great care in choosing the equipment we utilize in our work to maintain a high level of efficiency and to achieve prime results.
|
Empty Traps and Baskets |
After the leaves and other debris have been removed, we empty any leaf canister bags, skimmer baskets, and any other in-line baskets, traps, and screens to ensure that the system is getting the best possible circulation when it runs it's cycle.
|
Vacuum |
Occasionally our beautiful Arizona weather brings us the gift of wind. It blows dirt, sand, and fine particulates into your gorgeous pool. This stuff sinks to the bottom and that's when we rush in and save the day by vacuuming all that garbage up! It isn't always necessary but when it is, we don't hesitate to break out the manual vac and take care of business.
|
Brush |
While skimming removes the big debris and vacuuming removes dirt and sand, brushing is what really gets in the nooks and crannies of your pool surface and gets to algae and bacteria stuck on the walls, steps, floor, and tile of your pool. That's why we brush it all, every visit! |
Backwash (if applicable) |
Sand Filters get backwashed every visit, be it weekly or bi-weekly depending on your service plan. Diatomacious Earth (D.E.) Filters get disassembled every 6 months to be cleaned and the grids are backwashed and coated (or "charged") with fresh D.E. powder every bi-annual cleaning and every other 3 months in between. |
Keep You Informed! |
Every visit we leave a slip that indicates that we came and provided service, what chemicals were added, and any additional information we think you should be aware of. Urgent matters of course warrant a knock on the door and if you're not home, we'll give you a call. |
We offer the above services based on a weekly (or bi-weekly in the non-summer months) schedule which can be determined at your FREE ESTIMATE to suit your specific pool care needs. Our policy is to maintain our residential accounts in the same way, with the same care, and under the same scrutiny as far as chemical and water balance that we do for commercial and public accounts.
*We also work with a number of property managment companies and HOA's and can negotiate "bulk account" and long-term fixed rate contracts. Call to schedule an estimate today.
** We understand discretion when it comes to our customer's privacy. We've maintained several "high-profile" accounts from professional athletes to public officials (at the same rates as everyone else of course); and as a relatively small company with a relatively small service area, we guarantee that nobody but either one, or both, of the Oasis owners will ever come to your property. We are borderline neurotic about the condition of the pools we maintain and take our customers privacy very seriously. For this reason, and because we don't really trust anyone else to do the job to our standard, we are strictly a two-person operation.

Fountain and water feature services
We offer cost effective, flat rate fees for residential and commercial water falls, chemically treated ponds, fountains, high pressure / high flow water features, or even your beloved wishing well (which was definitely a worth while investment because it obviously granted your wishes and brought you to us! Congratulations!!).
Chemicals only service
Some people like to clean their own pools but dont want to deal with chemicals. We offer a reasonable flat rate fee for a one-time visit or on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule where we will come test and balance the chemicals for your pool, spa, hot tub, fountain, or water feature. Our water analysis procedure consists of 8 chemical colorimetric tests (Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, pH, Total Carbonate Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, Iron, Phosphates, and Copper), A turbidimetric test for Cyanuric Acid, and three electronic tests (TDS, Salt content, and Temperature). Additionally we measure for Combined Chlorine (also known as chlorimines which result from chlorines reaction with ammonia and nitrogen-based particles that inhibit free chlorine).

Chlorine and Acid Washing
Believe it or not, this is a white plaster pool AFTER we pressure washed it! It's not the owner's fault, this was the condition of the pool surface when they moved in. Just take a look after a little tender loving care from Oasis!

Sand changes
It's a simple process of opening the filter, removing the old sand with a wet/dry shop vac, cleaning the inside of the filter housing with a liquid chlorine solution, inspecting (and replacing if necessary) the internal components of the filter including the laterals, lateral manifold, inter-connecting piping, union bulkheads, and seals. Then we reassemble the internal components, fill the filter housing partially with water to protect said components from the several hundred pounds of magical sand that we've brought with us to fill up the filter to the manufacturer's specifications, seal up the filter lid, and reconnect any plumbing that had to be cut... Sound like something you think needs to be done to your sand filter? Not sure? Shoot us an e-mail or give us a call at..

Salt chlorinator cleaning
During the process of electrolysis, calcium builds up on the electrode components of the cell. Salt chlorinators that don't have a self-cleaning function periodically need to be cleaned by hand. We strongly recommend this be done by a pool professional (like us). To be done effectively, the cell needs to be cleaned in a solution of muriatic acid and water. Mixing this solution can be extremely hazardous and if done incorrectly can cause a dangerous chemical reaction.
*Never pour water into acid! !*
O-Ring lubrication And Shaft seal replacement
Backwash valves, filters, and motor/pump assemblies all have rubber o-rings and gaskets that require lubrication to maintain a water-tight seal. Shaft seals are spring actuated seals between the motor and the impeller that wear from contact with chemically treated water. When they go out, they leak. A lot.. Its an easily identifiable problem and is one that can be easily repaired. While o-ring lubrication is a part of our regular cleaning service plan, call to schedule a FREE estimate today if you think you have a shaft seal leak.
