The pictures above are photos of MY pool. I intentionally let it get all nasty and green to prove a point. With properly balanced water, a sufficient level of sanitizer, vacuum, brush, skim, and a couple of backwash cycles later, you can fix most dirty pools in less than 48 hours. It's all about technique!

Our standard acid or chlorine wash service consists of draining the old water, pressure washing the surface to remove any dirt or grime, acid or chlorine washing, and refilling and adding all the start up chemicals to the pool. The above project took about 72 hours from start to finish.

The above overhaul project took about 2 days. Everything from the concrete pad up was replaced to include the motor and pump, the filter, the automatic timer clock, all of the wiring, all of the above ground plumbing, all of the valves, and a salt chlorinator and power center (for the chlorinator) was installed.
Tile Cleaning & Calcium removal

The calcium deposits pictured above are a result of high calcium hardness and was removed relatively easily by pressure washing and applying a chemical treatment. Mineral build up from a scaling condition caused by unbalanced water (the scaling side of the saturation index) can be much more difficult to remove and may require us to have a glass-bead tile cleaning contractor to get involved (which can be really expensive). Problems like this can be easily avoided by keeping a close eye on the water balance (yes, we do that too).
