* Chemicals included in flat-rate services refers to standard pool balancing chemicals to include 3" stabilized chlorine tablets, muriatic acid (for the balancing of pH), sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate and (for the balancing of total alkalinity), sodium hypochlorite and trichloroisocyanuric acid (for increasing free acting chlorine to breakpoint and in superchlorination), and cyanuric acid (for stabilizing chlorine against UV destruction). Other specialty chemicals such as stain treatment and metal removers, phosphate removers, turbidity reducers and clarifiers, and Algaecides are NOT included in the flat-rate fees.
